I’m a Japan-based, middle-aged cat lover who wanted something more than the usual “cute” cat apparel. Many designs felt too playful for me to wear comfortably, so I set out to create something that balances charm with style.
Inspired by traditional kimono color palettes, this design features a peacefully curled-up cat—an image that brings a sense of calm and warmth. The kanji “猫” adds a subtle Japanese aesthetic, influenced by my love of calligraphy and bold brushwork.
The result is a piece that feels both refined and expressive—something I’d proudly wear myself.
